Welcome to my first ever blog post! It is so exciting the concept of sharing this journey
in organic gardening from this point on. At this stage I have been at it for quite a few years
already, yet consider myself still learning. What I learn I will share on this blog. Its a matter of
coming full circle again-since creating and living in some great gardens, I am now on the lookout
for a new home on the East coast of Australia somewhere. Up towards the border as the
growing conditions are so good up there. Re-live the days of winter tomatoes at Burleigh Heads!!
Problem at the moment is nowhere along the East coast is near cheap to buy. I will be looking
though. A small block of land would be a start.
My goal is to create my next and best "almost self sufficient garden". It does not have to be
full self sufficient-that would be just a crazy amount of work!! I will take you every step of the
way, tell you all I know about growing great organic food at home and even get out and learn more
from continued permaculture studies and WWOOF'ing hopefully...
There are some great gardening events coming up over the next few months that are already booked...I will
inform you of all the best ones I know in QLD and NSW.
Thank you for reading my first post! So much more to come I can hardly get myself to stop-but today is
more about taking the first step and getting this blog started...Soooo Excited about it all!!
